There are two categories of membership, General Members and Student Members.

General Membership: Any individual may become a General Member of  FDMCGNY by paying annual dues and affirming that he or she (i) has  read the Model Standards of Practice for Family and Divorce Mediation and agrees to adhere to them; and (ii)  has not been disbarred or otherwise incurred forfeiture or revocation  of a license, certification or authorization to practice a trade or profession (and has not been reinstated) and is not suspended from practicing a trade or profession.
