We are excited to announce the next edition of our Continuing Education Series:

Couples Therapists & Mediators: A Dialogue
Thursday, MARCH 29 * 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
City Bar of NY * 42 West 44th Street
FREE to FDMC members * $25 for non-members

FDMC is pleased to present a panel discussion with esteemed couples’ therapists, moderated by our own Kate Bar-Tur. Panelists will include Jill Bellinson, clinical psychologist, Stephen McDonnell, EFT therapist, and Ira Moses, psychoanalytic therapist.

This will be the first panel discussion FDMC has presented, and we hope it will provide a valuable forum in which we, as mediators, can learn from the our therapist colleagues about how common couples’ dynamics can present themselves in the mediative environment. We will be exploring our panelists’ views and suggestions about how we might address common issues, such as the difference in motivations to obtain a divorce, and our own internal reactions to different clients.

Please join us for this fantastic opportunity to learn from our couples’ therapists colleagues. This will be an interactive dialogue, so please feel free to bring your questions, concerns and ideas!
